Actually, the lion in this project was not marble… It was cement! Interiors by Randy commissioned Joseph Yznaga Regan to “restore” the lion back to be the regal greeter it once was for customers arriving at the famous Dania Beach landmark - Jimmie’s Chocolates. After completely repairing the sculpture’s surface and painting with a weather protective undercoat, Joseph proceeded to painstakingly paint both the Lion and Pedestal to look like natural marble. The result is once again a stunning guardian overlooking visitors to the ocean-side town of Dania Beach.
